Where do the bodywork therapy sessions happen? The sessions take place at my home in Walthamstow, E17, about 8-10 minutes’ walk from Walthamstow Central Station.
Where do I start? All the work starts with a free initial telephone consultation. First fill in the contact form to request one. During the phone consultation you can ask any questions about the session and, if you wish, book a session.
How much does it cost? Sessions are by donation in a ‘spirit of generosity’ (dana). The amount is up to you and you choose they amount that ‘feels right’, bringing a sense of ‘balance’ in exchange for the session. This process may awaken further healing qualities, appreciation and gratitude.
What do I expect during a session? The first session may last up to an hour or so. Please wear comfortable clothing. At the start of the session, there will be time to settle and relax from your journey. And further questions will be asked to support a revelation of the underlying patterns and the journey to enhanced wellbeing. When you are ready, you can lie down on the futon at floor level – or on a massage couch.
How long is each session? Each session lasts about an hour and includes ‘bodywork’ based on using shiatsu and Chi Nei Tsang techniques. This including applying pressure and stretches, working with acupressure points, energy channels and the muscles and tendons for healing.
Some recommendations may be offered – related to diet, exercise and lifestyle, including other self-care and energy enhancement practices – depending on the pattern of energy that has been sensed in the body, energy field and intuitively.
What do I do for after a session? Take time to rest after a session as far as possible. It is also advisable to drink some water. I may send a text some days after the session to find out how you are and answer any questions if needed. Further sessions may be offered and a range of modalities can be discussed during the session – and the journey of healing will be unique to you.

What about confidentiality and Data Protection? All information is kept confidential (and may be discussed in supervision). Copies are available on request. Please be aware that if there is a risk of someone being hurt or harmed, then information will need to be shared with the appropriate professionals as part of safeguarding.
